Azienda familiare italiana di second hand affidabile
More than a Business. It is a Family Journey.
Italy Secondhand is not just a sorting factory in Caserta. It is part of my life, my family, my character.
Francesco Rizzo
Founder & CEO of Italy Secondhand
My name is Francesco Rizzo and I founded Italy Secondhand more than 15 years ago. It wasn't a business idea from an Excel file โ it was life. In 2008 I left a stable job because I saw how many things in Italy are simply thrown away, even though they can still be useful.
Today Our Reality
Today our company has a complete sorting factory in Marcianise, more than 30 employees, our own logistics and customers throughout Europe. But you know what hasn't changed? Every day I enter the warehouse and personally check the quality.
Italy Secondhand is not just business. It's about trust that must be earned every day. It's about things that shouldn't end up in the trash, but can still serve a purpose.
Family Beginnings
At the time, I was a young father and had just gotten married. My wife and I collected vestiti usati al kg at local charity outlets and sorted them at home in the garage. My children, who were still in school, helped to pack the bags, and my mother made coffee for the first customers.
The Growth
Over the years, everything has changed: a small warehouse has grown into a factory with more than 30 employees, we sort up to 20 tons of branded second-hand goods every month, accept customers from all over Europe.
We send deliveries to Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, and the Czech Republic. We receive new requests for ingrosso abbigliamento usato firmato al kg from Naples, Prato every month.
But the Main Thing is Not Numbers. The Main Thing is Values.
I still walk through the factory every day and open the bags. Because I know that every kilogram of goods is someone's hope, someone's start. Someone is opening their first second-hand store, someone is making a living from online sales, someone is looking for a new chance. And I have no right to let them down.
The Dream for the Future
My dream is to open a completely eco-friendly clothing recycling line to not only extend the life of things, but also to reduce the textile industry's footprint on the planet. I want Italy Secondhand to become an example of how to do business in a human, family-friendly way, with a soul.
